Dekalb County School Board Virtual Meeting to be Rescheduled

DeKalb County Schools (DCSD) announced on Facebook Tuesday, that the district postponed their virtual meeting last night because of a power outage in the region.

The DCSD Facebook page posted the following message Tuesday night.

“Due to technical issues and power outages throughout the Region 1 area, we have postponed tonight’s virtual meeting. Thank you to everyone who attempted to join. Please look to receive a new date and time for a rescheduled meeting this week.”

While some commenters were understanding of the post, others questioned the district about the meeting cancellation. Some even emphasized the point that the district’s reason for cancelling the meeting was just simply an excuse.

The post can be seen on this link, here.
