Atlanta Public Schools (APS) posted a Tweet yesterday asking families for feedback regarding the school district’s plan for its COVID-19 relief funds.

The funds were provided through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) to help schools with various struggles caused by the pandemic and to help students return to school for in person learning this fall. APS’s plan for the funds seems to involve using them in a similar fashion.

“The district is planning to utilize that funding to address several critical areas, including academic recovery and intervention, social emotional learning, and student and staff health and well-being,” said the APS website.

APS received over $200 million in ARP funds.
