After Wednesday, a special called meeting in Marietta City Schools, Marietta High School will welcome Dr. Eric L. Holland as the new principal on July 18.
Holland has over 23 years of experience in educational administration and will take the helm after Keith Ball left in the spring for a role in the central office. Holland has a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education from Georgia Southwestern State University. In addition, his doctoral degree from Capella University is in Leadership in Educational Administration.
“Under Dr. Holland’s leadership, the Rome High School community saw growth and improvement in their academic offerings and outcomes, as well as expanded extracurricular opportunities and family engagement,” Kerry Minervini, Chair of the Board of Education
Holland is expected to start on July 18, 2022.
