In a message to parents late Monday afternoon, Henry County Schools moved from a level 1 to level 4 of the COVID-19 Management Plan that now requires all students to wear a mask for all indoor spacing along with a reduction in seating capacity for indoor extracurricular events and public meetings. In addition, all large public meetings will be modified for safety purposes.
“The latest measure comes after careful consideration and consultation with our trusted health officials and government leaders,” school officials said.
After one week of school, 69 students have tested positive and 413 are in quarantine.
